HOW TO USE THE MAPS

As part of our project, we have developed two georeferenced maps: one dedicated to women in photography in Milan and the other to Tuscany. Their aim is to make visible the places where women in photography worked between 1839 and 1939. 

These maps are conceived as open and participatory tools. We invite citizens, families, researchers, and local communities to contribute their knowledge, memories, and family archives in order to enrich this collective endeavor. 

Contributions may be sent to fotografiste.prin22pnrr@gmail.com and should include: the name of the woman; address and/or city; years of activity; and images, if available.
